LEO RUBIN, 89, of Southfield, died Oct.
29, 2007.
He is survived by his beloved daugh-
ter, Jan; grandchildren, Seth and Lauren;
devoted nieces and nephews, Robert, Peter,
Jim, Amy; much loved great-nieces and
great-nephew, Michael, Sarah and Julia;
treasured friend, Betty,
He was the husband of the late Olga
Trattner Rubin; brother of the late Minnie.

He is survived by his sons, Andrew
(Janis) Ruden of West Bloomfield and
Frederick Ruden of Kalamazoo; grandchil-
dren, Sarey, Noah, Zachary and Olivia.
Services were at Langeland Family
Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622
S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Contributions
may be made to the Congregation of
Moses or In-House Hospice Solutions.

MILTON RUDEN 85, of Portage, died Oct.
29, 2007. He was born March 25, 1922, in
New York, N.Y.
Mr. Ruden was a medic in the United
States Army during World War II, earning
himself the rank of captain and partici-
pating in both the Invasion of Normandy
and the Battle of the Bulge. He owned and
operated the first Midas Muffler Shop in
Kalamazoo.
Mr. Ruden was a devoted and active
member of the Congregation of Moses in
Kalamazoo. Preceding him in death is his

ELSIE EHRMANN SANDLER, 81, of
Southfield, died Nov. 4, 2007.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Dr. Paul and Dr. Robin
Ehrmann of West Bloomfield, Dr. David
Ehrmann and Dr. Mindy Schwartz of
Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren, Daniel, Brett,
Zachary, Ari and Emily Ehrmann; devoted
friend, Harry Goodman; many other lov-
ing family members and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late Kurt
Ehrmann and the late Ben Sandler.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to a charity
of one's choice. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.

NEIL BARRY SPORN, 60, of West
Bloomfield, died Oct. 30, 2007. He was an
executive in the home automation busi-
ness.
Mr. Sporn is survived by his wife,
Allison Sporn of West Bloomfield; daugh-
ter, Chelsea Sporn of West Bloomfield;
mother and her husband, Pauline and
Albert Dubin; mother-in-law and father-
in-law, Barbara and Allan McNabb; sisters
and brother-in-law, Brina Reinstein of
Tulsa, Okla., Donna and Robert Slatkin
of Bloomfield Hills; stepbrothers and
stepsisters, Howard and Jean Dubin,
Sandra Frankel and Roslyn Silverman;
sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kim
and Eric Schiebold, Melaine and Balaji
Yelamanchili, Laurel McNabb.
He is the beloved son of the late Jack
Sporn.

Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

Hermelin Brain Tumor Center, Henry
Ford Hospital, 1 Ford Place Suite 5A,
Detroit, MI 48202 or to a charity of one's

ANN YANCOVITCH, 90, of Flagstaff,
Ariz., formerly of Detroit, died Oct. 29,
2007.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Nora and Eric Gulsvic; son,
Les Yancovitch; grandchildren, Shoshana
Reifman and Stacy and Scott Hays; great-
grandchildren, Kayla, Maxx and Sierra
Hays; sister, Bea Kadushin.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Moses Yancovitch; dear sister-in-law of the
late Samuel Kadushin.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements by
Ira Kaufman Chapel.
