Cari received a master's degree in coun-

Randy completed his residency in anes-
thesia at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation
and is employed by South Oakland
Anesthesia Associates.
A March wedding is planned.

Bloomfield are delighted to

their daughter Michelle to David Lang, son
of Gloria and John Lang of Baltimore, Md.
Michelle earned her bachelor's degree in
English at the University of Michigan. She
is employed as marketing manager at the
law firm of Katten Muchen Rosenman in
Washington, D.C.
Dave is also a graduate of the University
of Michigan, earning his bachelor's degree
in astrophysics. He is a program associate
at the National Academies of Science in
Washington, where he is on the board of Physics and Astronomy.
The couple are planning a Washington wedding next June.

rving Shapiro of Bloomfield Hills and
Gail Shapiro of Laguna Woods, Calif.,
are thrilled to announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Dayna Lynne to
Jonathan Lawrence Braun, son of Barry and
Linda Hyman and Bill and Ruth Braun, all
of California.
Dayna attended Northeastern University
in Boston, where she studied marketing
and communications. She moved to Los
Angeles 16 years ago. Dayna is the director,
Recruiting for the Entertainment Business.
Jonathan, a graduate of UCLA, was born
and raised in the Los Angeles area. He is in
commercial real estate. They met through JDate.com in Los Angeles, where they
will continue to reside.
An October 2008 wedding is planned in California.
