working as a volunteer at Yad Ezra kosher
food pantry in Berkley.

with the Michael Yendick Foundation for
Children, a special nonprofit organization
named in loving memory of her uncle
Michael Yendick.

Andrea is an eighth-grade student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills. Her mitzvah projects
included raising funds for breast cancer
research as well as participating in the local
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Brandon is a student at Clifford Smart
Middle School in Walled Lake. He felt
his most meaningful mitzvah project
was donating to the Grodman Cure
Foundation, which helps with research
for juvenile diabetes.
