Ian Weinberg's 2nd birthday party
proved to be fun for kids of all ages
— including his mom. "One of
the special things they do at par-
ties is to bring out the birthday boy
or girl on a little sled with balloons
tied on it," says Lauren Weinberg of
Birmingham. "Ian didn't want to sit
on it alone, so I sat down with him,
and my husband, David, pulled us."
The Weinbergs knew that by the
September party, they would have a
new baby in their home, Alexa, then
2 months. "I knew it would be easy
for me," Weinberg says. "They took
care of everything. And Ian loved it. I
would definitely do it again."
A friend of the Weinbergs who
came to the party had the same idea.
Says Lauren, "She booked her own
son's 3rd birthday party while she was
there."
