ven at the age of 12 I knew I wanted to be
an orthopedic surgeon. My teachers always
encouraged me to follow that dream.

1 don't remember all of the grades 1 received
in my classes, but what I do recall is that the
teachers were always there when I needed them.
It is clear that everyone at Country Day wants
you to succeed. They truly want you to do well
and that's a good feeling.

Mr. Menton always stayed late when I needed
extra help and Mr. Campbell made sure I learned
about the world outside. Looking back today, 1
realize just how much their support made
a difference.

Detroit Country Day offers a top notch
education, but it's the dedication of the
teachers that meant the most to me.
