ties this month that are open to the
entire community.

lead a three-part
Thursday afternoon
Bible study series
starting Nov. 8. The
subject is the Book
of Judges. Sessions
will run from 1-2

p.m. on Nov. 8, Nov.

15 and Nov. 29 (no
class Thanksgiving
week). Each session will be self-con-
tained, and no knowledge of Hebrew
is required.

Learn At Lunch
Temple Beth El's Lunar Learn and
Lunch Series, led by Keren Alpert,
director of education, will continue
Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. and
Thursday at noon, Nov. 14 and 15.
The subject will be "Blessing of
Thanksgiving',' an exploration of the
traditional and not-so traditional
ways a Jew can give thanks on a daily
basis as well as at extraordinary
times. Both the evening session and
brown bag noon program are open
to the community without charge.
