Early Childhood Learning Center

Temple Shir Shalom is looking for a caring, experienced,
creative and nurturing individual to join our staff as the
Director of our Early Childhood Learning Center, opening
September 2008. The Director will help develop and
implement our new program, serving families with
children ages 2 1/2 to 5, and will also serve as the
lead teacher. The qualified individual will oversee all
aspects of the preschool program - hiring teachers and
teaching assistants, purchasing appropriate equipment
and supplies, communicating effectively with parents/
families, and providing a safe, healthy, nurturing, and
positive Jewish environment. Part-time work from
January 7 through June 30 is anticipated, with full time
beginning July 1, 2008. Competitive salary with benefits,
including health insurance, paid holidays and vacation.

Minimum of B.A. in Early Childhood/Child Development/
Education or a related Field, with preferably 3 years
previous teaching experience in an Early Childhood/Child
Development center.

Temple Israel seeks an Associate Executive Director/
Temple Administrator for its vibrant 3,400+ family-unit
member congregation. Temple Israel provides a spiritual,
educational, and cultural home for Jews of all ages in
the Detroit Metropolitan area. As we enter our 67th year,
this historic congregation continues to provide a life-long
innovative, supportive, and caring Jewish environment.

The Assistant Executive Director/Administrator is
responsible for day-to-day synagogue operations, HR,
membership, and facilities management. In addition, the
Assistant Executive Director supervises other staff as well
as secretarial, support and custodial employees.

COORDINATOR OF
DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

Hillel Day School seeks a Coordinator of Develop-
ment Services whose primary responsibility is to
manage the donor/potential donor database and to
track, analyze, and prospect stewardship activities.
Candidate must possess outstanding organiza-
tional, analytical and interpersonal skills as well
as excellent writing skills. Candidate must have
experience with non-profit computer software,
preferably Raisers Edge, and must be proficient on
Excel and Word. A minimum of 3-5 years experi-
ence in Development is required.
