oril Sharon of Southfield and
Michael and Andrea Jeross of Oak
Park are thrilled to announce the
engagement of their children Alona and
Mark.
Alona received her bachelor of arts
degree from the University of Michigan and
her juris doctor degree from Wayne State
University in Detroit. She is a solo practitio-
ner in Royal Oak, specializing in criminal
defense.
Mark also received his bachelor of arts
degree from the University of Michigan. He
is the national sales manager of Royal Crest
Inc., a manufacturer of custom window treatments in Oak Park.
A December wedding is planned at Congregation B'nai Moshe in West
Bloomfield.

achel Hannah Aberly and Fred
McLane exchanged marriage vows
recently in Santa Monica, Calif.
Rachel is a daughter of Suzanne and Ansel
Aberly of Union Pier, Mich., and Dallas,
Texas, formerly of Birmingham. Fred is the
son of Pearl McLane of Tulsa, Okla., and the
late Lyman Russel McLane.
The couple, both of whom work in the
film industry, reside in Santa Monica, where
a reception for family and friends will be
held. They met seven years ago on the set of
We Were Soldiers.
A graduate of the University of Michigan,
Rachel is vice president of publicity for Participant Productions in Santa
Monica, Calif., well-known for An Inconvenient Truth and Syriana! She also has
film credits as an independent unit publicist with PMK Public Relations in Los
Angeles.
Fred, a focus puller, is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin. His films
include The Longest Yard and Click.

ding anniversary with a party at Lelli's of
Auburn Hills given by their children, Susan
and Mark Pollack of Highland Park, Ill.,
Linda and Bill Bedrava of Cave Creek, Ariz.,
and Dr. David Kushner of West Bloomfield.
Joining them were their grandchildren, Jen,
Ali, Mike Pollack, Zack and Jo-Jo Bedrava.
