Farmington Hills, died Oct. 9, 2007.
He was a pharmacist and partner at
Sterling Drugs in Warren.
Mr. Hertzberg is survived by
his wife, Rose S. Hertzberg; sons
and daughters in law, Dr. Mark
and Rosalyn Hertzberg of West
Bloomfield, Dr. Neil and Simha
Hertzberg of West Bloomfield,
daughter and son-in-law, Karyn
and Dr. Mark Faber; Rose's children,
Joel and Katie Stocker, Michael
and Margo Stocker, Ken and
Nancy Stocker; grandchildren, Dr.
Rachel and Dr. Christopher Hulen,
Michael and Leann Hertzberg,
Nicole Hertzberg, Steven Hertzberg,
Michelle Faber, Joshua Faber, Gabriel
Faber, Nathaniel Faber, Jill and Jeff
Gershune, David and Blythe Stocker,
Julie Stocker, Daniel Stocker, Jacob
Stocker and Hannah Stocker; great-
grandchildren, Phoebe Hulen, Dylan
Hertzberg, Drew Hertzberg and Jack
Hulen; sister-in-law and brother-
in-law, Sally Flusty and Robert
Levinson.
He was the beloved husband
of the late Phyllis Hertzberg; dear
brother-in-law of the late Samuel
Hart.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

HERBERT YAHIEL HORDES, 79,
former Detroiter of Tel Aviv, Israel,
died Oct. 20, 2007.
He attended Hebrew Technion
and fought in the Israeli War
of Liberation. He then opened
SuperSol, the first supermarket in
Israel.
Mr. Hordes is survived by his wife
of 57 years, Nesia; daughters, Naomi,
Tamar, Leora (Shuki) Jacobi, Donna
(Victor) Bloom; five grandchildren;
sister Evelyn Wishnetsky; many lov-
ing nieces and nephews.
He was the beloved brother-in-
law of the late Edward Wishnetsky;
beloved brother of the late Earl
Hordes.
