Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield. He is the brother of
Eric, Bryan, Jessica and Stefanie. His
grandparents are Edith Fridenberg and
Marilynn and Ed Skulsky. He is also the
grandchild of the late Eben Fridenberg.
Jason attends Abbott Middle School
in West Bloomfield. As a mitzvah
project, he chose to volunteer at the
American Cancer Society and felt that
was very meaningful to him.

Zachary Adam
Small of West
Bloomfield will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Oct. 27, at
Temple Kol Ami in
West Bloomfield. He
is the son of Dorothy
and Howard Small and the brother
of Nicholas, Jeffrey and Jacqueline.
Zachary is the grandson of the late
Rose and the late Morris Giman, the
late Gertrude and the late Jack Small.
Zac will be 'twinning in remem-
brance' his maternal grandfather's tod-
dler son, Wolf Giman ,who didn't have
a chance to come of age because of the
Holocaust.

Weingarten
He is the son of
Janet and Dr. Jeffrey
Weingarten and brother of Jennifer and
Michael. Proud grandparents are Helen
and Ralph Benaroya of Park Forest, Ill.,
and Marlene and Robert Weingarten of
Las Vegas, Nev.
Matthew attends Parcell's Middle
School in Grosse Pointe Woods. His
many mitzvah projects included his
favorite, blowing the shofar at the
children's holiday services.

Zachary is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle school in West Bloomfield. His
most memorable mitzvah project was
volunteering at Ealy Elementary School
as a homework helper and mentor.

their daughter Rachel Elizabeth to Brian
Alexander, son of Steven and Mickey Engel
of Buffalo Grove, Ill.
Rachel received her bachelor of science
in accounting from Indiana University
in Bloomington, Ind. She is employed at
Blackman Kallick Bartelstein LLP as a
senior auditor.
Brian is a graduate of Lehigh University
in Bethlehem, Pa., where he received
his bachelor of arts in psychology. He is
employed with Harris Bank in Chicago as a sales manager in global treasury
management.
A November wedding is planned at Temple Israel, West Bloomfield.
