Bring the whole family to a magical night of music
from some of Disney's most beloved films. From Snow
White and the Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pan and Pinocchio to
Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and The Lion
King, the music and songs will make you smile and
remind you dreams can come true.
Q: You've written magazine
articles, books, columns
and newspaper stories. Is
good writing basically good
writing?
A: From my own diverse experiences
The Artistry of Eddie Daniels
over 25 years as a journalist, and
the experiences of my students at
Columbia J-school, I'd say good writ-
ing is good writing. Voice is voice.
Sometimes, when you're deal-
ing with very complex explanatory
journalism and investigation, it's
hard to find room for voice. That's
why doing this latest book was so
much fun.
Special Event

State University in a night of premieres; blending the

Q: Many women will be able
to sympathize with your
wife when it comes to the
socks struggle. She always
asks you to pick them up;
you always "forget." Despite
such differences, you speak
lovingly and respectfully of
your wife. How is it that you
two manage to keep these
little differences
in perspective?

A: Well, you said
it best: I love and
respect my wife.
She knows it, and
anybody who reads
my essays knows it.
That's a big, big thing
poEu
in a marriage. Do
you love and respect
your spouse? Do they
know it? Do you keep proving it?
Sense of humor helps a lot; I'm
not sure how people who don't
amuse each other stay together.

Q: Please give us a few
clues on how to get the
men in our lives to com-
plete those "projects."
A: Most wives think they want
their husbands to [clean things
out], but then would probably com-
pletely disapprove of every choice
we made.
With a guy, there is safety in piles.
It's the ones with clean desks you
have to worry about. 7
