Dr. Dora Apel will speak on her book, Memory Effects: The Holocaust
and the Art of Secondary Witnessing, which considers the way the
Holocaust is used in modern art. Dr. Apel was the recipient of the
Federation's 2006 Benard L. Maas Prize for Achievement in Jewish
Culture and Continuity.
