SEVEN TOP MAGIC -CTS AN ONE AMAZING SHOW!

ORLIOz.
'OA

energetic performers: being Jewish!'
Roth writes in his 1997 autobiog-
raphy, Crazy From the Heart, that his
"Jewish identity propelled him onstage,
providing the power source from
which he draws his physical energy,
bold personality and 'live life to the
max' philosophy"
Not the most observant Jew, "Roth
nevertheless takes pride in his people-
hood, its history and culture," writes
Benarde. His bar mitzvah speech
focused on "the social alienation that
came with being Jewish."
Roth has his own "special way of
shouting,'Never again!'"
"Every step I took on that stage was
smashing some Jew-hating, lousy punk
... and if you were even vaguely anti-
Semitic, you were under my wheels:'
Roth writes in Crazy.

No, Lindsay Lohan, Britney
Spears and Paris Hilton are not
Jewish.
But there are, sad to say, Jews
who are associated with the
worst of showbiz
excess.
There's Rick

ried blonde
bombshell Pam

Vegas wedding.
Several sources report that he
stuck a yarmulke on his head dur-
ing the wedding ceremony.
It is hard to ascertain what
Salomon actually does for a liv-
ing. While he calls himself a busi-

nessman, the only business he
ever seems to have transacted is
selling a tape of himself having
intimate relations with his former
girlfriend, Paris Hilton. Rick's late
father, a Warner Brothers execu-
tive, reportedly cut him out of his
will.
Also cut off from family money
is Brandon Davis, 28, the grand-
son of the late Marvin Davis, a
famous oil billionaire. Brandon,
whose nickname is "Greasy
Bear," is infamous for partying
with Hilton, Lohan and others
at famous Hollywood watering
holes.
He is on several tapes on
YouTube making lewd remarks
to the media, most notably on
a famous tape in which he calls
Lohan a very crude name while
Paris Hilton, who was with him,
giggles in the background.
Not surprisingly, Davis has a
major problem with cocaine and
alcohol, and his family recently
cut off his trust fund until he
cleans up his act.
