Shape Magazine in support of The Breast Cancer Research
Foundation in a national breast cancer awareness initiative
called Pilates for Pink.Our studio, along with several of our
teachers, are donating some special pilates classes. When you

will be asked to donate $20.00 to The Breast Cancer Research

Wineman was a star at Berkley High
School. He helped the Bears go 8-1 and
earn a share of the Southeastern Michigan
Association championship when he was a
senior. That was Berkley's first league title
in football in more than 20 years.
After graduating from Albion, Wineman
earned a law degree from the Detroit
College of Law in 1995. He's now a cor-
porate attorney and a partner in the
Bloomfield Hills law firm of Frasco,
Caponigro, Wineman & Scheible.
"When I need motivation, I think back
to the dedication I needed to play foot-
ball," Wineman said.
Wineman and his wife, Heidi, have two
children, Jack, 4, and Jane, 3.

Athletes, Volunteers Wanted
Aug. 17-22, 2008, will be here before you
know it.
That's why Detroit JCC Maccabi Games
Director Karen Gordon has scheduled
two kickoff meetings foryouths interested
in competing for the Detroit teams next
year.
The meetings are at 4 p.m. Nov. 18 at the
JCC in West Bloomfield and 7 p.m. Nov. 19

at the JCC in Oak Park. Prospective ath-
letes need to attend just one meeting.
Athletes ages 13-16 (as of Aug. 1, 2008)
are needed for Detroit's boys baseball,
basketball, in-line hockey and soccer, and
girls basketball, soccer, softball and vol-
leyball teams.
Athletes ages 12-16 (as of Aug. 1) are
needed for Detroit's bowling, dance, golf,
swimming, table tennis, tennis and track
and field squads.
