Noah is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Mitzvah projects
include gift donations to Children's
Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and
JARC, where he volunteered at the
Berlin Residence Home.

and Cary. Maxwell is the grandson
of Deena Rosen and the late Marvin
Rosen and Teresa Medley and the late
Robert Medley.
Maxwell is an eighth-grader at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills.Among his most
meaningful mitzvah projects was col-
lecting donations for the troops in
Iraq.

Friday, Oct. 12, as he
celebrates his bar
mitzvah. His grandparents are Judy
and Coleman Verona, the late Sharron
and the late Franklin Adell.
Brandon is a student at Derby
Middle School in Birmingham. He
felt it as especially meaningful to
donate a portion of his gifts from his
bar mitzvah to the Dr. Vaitkevicius
Discretionary Fund for the fight
against breast cancer.

acy Michelle Lipson and Kevin Neil
Brand were recently married at Temple
Emanu-El in Oak Park. Rabbi Joseph
Klein officiated.
Stacy is the daughter of Kenneth and Linda
Lipson of Southfield. Kevin is the son of Gary
and Cheryl Brand of Commerce Township.
Mindy Beth Lipson, sister of the bride,
was the maid of honor. Bruce Goldberg,
brother-in-law of the groom, was the best man.
Bridesmaids were Stacey Goldberg, sister of
the groom, and friends Allison Grant, Heidi
Vecera, Amanda Warner, Julie Bagley and
Bonnie Dell.
Groomsmen were Eric Levin, cousin of the groom, and friends Steven Lotzoff,
Justin Columbus, Michael Barlow, Matthew Thompson and Ryan Columbus.
The bride and groom were especially honored to have grandparents Bess and Sol
Lipson and Dorothy and Phil Moscowitz included in the ceremony. Stacy's maternal
grandmother Thelma Wayne was unable to attend; however Stacy and Kevin were
thrilled to visit her the week after the wedding.
The newlyweds reside in Wixom.
