Rosen Returns

Fans of Rebecca Rosen will have a
chance to reconnect with the Jewish
medium who spent several years in
Detroit when she returns to the area
to conduct two audience readings,

7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 (doors
open no later than 6:30 p.m.), and 1-3
p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 (doors open no
later than 12:30 p.m.), at the William
Costick Activities Center, Shannon
Room-Entrance A, 28600 11 Mile Road

Farmington Hills. A crew from FOX2
will film at both events for an upcom-
ing half-hour special.
"I will read as many members of the
audience as possible in the two-hour
session:' says Rosen, who hopes "to
connect those she reads with loved ones
who have crossed over into spirit form."
She now resides in Denver.
"Those who need the connections
most will be read',' she believes. There
will be a question-and-answer period
at the end.
Tickets are $40 in advance and will
be mailed; they may be purchased
securely online with a credit card by

While not quite
a comedy, the
new Bravo reality
competition show
Better Half will
probably have a
lot of humor – it
is hosted by the
Susie Essman
funny comedian
Susie Essman, best known as Jeff
Garlin's foulmouthed wife on HBO's
Curb Your Enthusiasm. In each
episode, the spouses/mates of two
trained professionals compete; the
pros have a couple of days to coach
their novice partner to take on their
jobs and beat the opposing "better
half" in a final challenge. The first
episode features battling chefs.
Meanwhile, Essman is on hand to
needle them about their shortcom-
ings. Better Half debuts 11 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 3.
