Southfield, died Sept. 9, 2007.
She is survived by her daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Kathryn
and Richard Lenter of Bloomfield
Hills, Ellen and Thomas Swengel
of Champaign, Ill.; grandchildren,
David Lenter and Amanda Moniz,
Adam and Jamie Lenter, Michael and
Julie Weiss and Andrew Weiss; great-
grandson, Daniel Lawrence Weiss.
She was the beloved wife of the late
John Meistrich.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to
the Phyllis and John Meistrich Fund
at the Fresh Air Society or to St. Johns
Hospice. Arrangements by Dorfman

SEYMOUR
POMISH, 80, of
Spring Hill, Fla.,
formerly of Detroit,
died Sept. 4, 2007.
He attended Central
High School, where
he was captain of
the football team.
He also played foot-
ball for Wayne State University. He
was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Betty
Pomish of Spring Hill; daughter and
son-in-law, Susan and Lee Pomish
of West Bloomfield; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Michael and Nancy
Pomish of West Bloomfield, Robert
and Ruth Pomish of Bloomfield Hills;
grandchildren, Jerod, Scott, Melissa
and Daniel Lutz, Brandon, Evan,
Jessica and Nicole Pomish; Diane
Pomish; sister, Gertrude Pomish of
Los Angeles; sister-in-law, Jeanette
Pomish.
Mr. Pomish was the beloved broth-
er of the late Irving Pomish.
Interment in Florida. Contributions

Bloomfield, MI 48322 or the
Michigan Friends of the Israel
Defense Forces, P.O. Box 999, Walled

SHIRLEY ROSENBERG, 78, of
Commerce Township, died Aug. 31,
2007.
She was a Farmington public
school secretary.
Mrs. Rosenberg is survived by
her husband, Harold Rosenberg;
daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and

Joel Chess, Susan and Neal Robin;
sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald
and Delia Rosenberg,•Joel and Teri
Rosenberg; grandchildren, Mark
and Michelle Chess, Carrie Chess,

Ryan Rosenberg, Josh and Aaron
Rosenberg; great-grandchild, Raizi
Chess; brother and sister-in-law, Gary
and Sandy Faber; daughter-in-law,
Janice Rosenberg.
Mrs. Rosenberg was the loving
mother of the late Steven Rosenberg;
dear sister of the late Ruth Korby.

GOLDIE RUBENS, 94, of Oak Park,
died Sept. 2, 2007.
She is survived by her nieces and
nephews, Wayne and Cecilee Stein,
Rubi and Shelley Singal; great-nieces
and great-nephews; great-great-niec-
es and great-great-nephews.
Mrs. Rubens was the beloved wife
of the late Solomon; dear sister of the
late Meyer Stein.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Services and
interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

GERALDINE SCHUMER, 91, of Oak
Park, died Sept. 7, 2007.
She is survived by her daughters

children, Ricky Entin, Shannon

Mrs. Schumer was the beloved
wife of the late Sam Schumer; loving
mother-in-law of the late Larry Entin.
