Shabbat weekend visits during this

Hashanah at Congregation T'chiyah in
Oak Park.

Rabbinical College
in Philadelphia in
September. Her vis-

of the congregation.
Besides High Holidays (Erev Rosh
Hashanah, Sept. 12; Rosh Hashanah,
Sept. 13-14; Kol Nidre, Sept. 21; and
Yom Kippur, Sept. 22), Kirshbaum's
tentatively scheduled weekends are:
Oct. 5-7, No 9-11 and Dec. 7-9, 2007,
Jan. 11-13, Feb. 15-17, March 21-23,
April 25-27 and May 16-18, 2008.
The public is invited to participate
in all services, activities and events.
High Holidays are free of charge.
Congregation T'chiyah is located
in the David and Miriam Mondry
Building at 15000 W. 10 Mile on the
Oak Park JCC Campus.

Temple Kol Ami in West Bloomfield
has chosen an executive board for
2007-2008.
Co-presidents are Bill Faber

Bill Goldenberg; secretary, Debbie
Himelhoch; past co-presidents, Terry
Hollander and Mindi Silver-Weiss.
Elected to the board of trustees for

Parenting Support Group
Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 10
a.m. at Temple Israel, Daniel A. Klein,
a licensed psychologist with a private
practice in West Bloomfield, will lead a
four-week support group titled "Tough
Kid, Tired Parent!'
The group will continue Sept. 26,
Oct. 3 and 10 and is open free of

Selichot For All Ages
Young adults ages 21-40 are invited

Tina Gargotta is the new youth direc-
tor at Temple Israel. Her most recent
employment was as a Jewish campus
service corps fel-
low at the Hillel of
Tampa Bay. She has
been very involved
with the National
Federation of
Temple Youth on
both a regional and
a national level.
Tina Gargotta
As youth direc-
tor, Gargotta will be
working with youth of all ages. She
will develop programs for fourth- to
eighth-graders, plan Tyner Religious
School retreats and work with Youth
Federation of Temple Israel advisers.
