M

ilton J. Ross of Southfield will
celebrate his 100th birthday on
Sept. 9. With his loving wife,
Ann; son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Deb
Ross; grandson, Peter; and his extended
family and friends, Milton was honored
at a party where he delivered a poem he
wrote for his poetry class at the Park at
Trowbridge where the couple reside. The
family feels truly blessed to celebrate with
this wonderful man who was in the cavalry,
taught English and directed plays in the
Detroit public schools, joined the business
world, put his son through medical school
and did volunteer tax work for the elderly for 20 years after retirement. He still
enjoys exercising, reading and seeing the beauties of nature.
