High Holiday Services High Holiday services will be offered by the Birmingham-Bloomfield Chai Center, with no membership require- ments and no charge for seats. Services will be at 9 a.m. on the two days of Rosh Hashanah, Sept. 13 and 14, and 10 a.m. on Yom Kippur, Sept. 22. There is also a Kol Nidre service, Sept. 21, at 7:15 p.m. All services will be at the Masonic Lodge, 37357 Woodward in Bloomfield Hills. In addition, the Chai Center will offer holiday meals in a family setting on the two nights of Rosh Hashanah, a New Year luncheon after services on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, and a break-fast after Yom Kippur. East Side Celebrates The Grosse Pointe Jewish Council has scheduled High Holiday services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Led by Rabbi Ernst J. Conrad with cantorial soloist Bryant Frank, the services will celebrate Rosh Hashanah on the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 12, and the morning of Thursday, Sept. 13. Services for Yom Kippur will be held on the evening of Friday, Sept. 21, and throughout the day Saturday, Sept. 22. On both holidays, there will be children's services.
