When the month of June arrives, we are all ready and raring to go to
Camp Kadima. It is one of the highlights of our year and keeps grow-
ing bigger and better each summer. This year 30 clients and 6 staff
spent 5 days at Camp Sea Gull enjoying all the activities and remem-
bering why they come back every summer. It's a time for relaxing, shar-
ing with friends, participating in activities, and enjoying nature's gifts.

We played some softball and discovered we had some superstars
in our midst. No pitcher could throw a ball that Donald Holman was
unable to hit. The weather was a little chilly but some of the clients took
the plunge and went swimming. Our Kadima campfire band keeps
growing as David Barg brought kazoos for everyone. We played
along with Mike Trepeck, Kadima social worker, on guitar, David on
harmonica, and Joel Kaufman on trombone. Between the band and the
jokes and S'mores, we all had a great time every evening at our camp-
fires. As always we made a trip to Charlevoix for lunch and shopping,
especially for fudge.

"The next big thing in music. I've
never heard a voice like Joshua's
before. He literally brings
the house down."
