WILLARD POSEN,
82, of Farmington
Hills, died July 22,
2007. The manager
of Famous Furniture,
Mr. Posen was a
World War II Army
Air Force veteran as a
Posen
radio operator.
He was a very
active member of Adat Shalom
Synagogue and the Hampshire House
Condominium Association as well as
being a member of the Masons. He was
also a co-commissioner of the Adat
Shalom Synagogue Youth Commission.
Mr. Posen is survived by sons and a
daughter-in-law, Marc and Carol Posen
of Birmingham, Steven and Cindy
Posen of West Bloomfield, Larry Posen
of Chicago; grandchildren, Eve Bethany
Posen and Hannah Aliza Posen.
Mr. Posen was the beloved husband
of the late Babette Posen.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial

DR. RICHARD S.
ROBINSON, 62,
former Detroiter of
Smyrna, Ga., died July
6,2007, of postopera-
tive complications fol-
lowing extensive back
surgery.
Robinson
Dr. Robinson was a
dedicated and much
loved primary care physician. He was
born and raised in Detroit, attended the
University of Michigan and Wayne State
University Medical School. He married
Cynthia Cook, a former Miss Georgia,
and lived in the Atlanta area since 1972.
He is survived by his loving wife,
Cynthia; children, Anthony and
Angela Robinson; brothers, Dr. Charles
Robinson of Burlingame, Calif., Dr.
Laurence Robinson of Ada, Ohio.
He was the beloved son of the late
Arthur and the late Shirley Robinson.
Memorial services were held at
Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna,
Ga.

LYDIA SPERBER, 95, of Ann Arbor,
died July 18, 2007. An antiques busi-

ness owner, she
was a life member
of Hadassah and
a member of Beth
Israel Congregation.
Mrs. Sperber
served as a Pink Lady
and Gray Lady at
Sperber
Mt. Sinai Hospital in
New York and Miami
Beach and was also a translator of
Russian and French at the University
of Michigan Hospital. She was a past
member of the New York Chapter of
American Women's ORT.
Mrs. Sperber is survived by daugh-
ters and a son-in-law, Helen and David
Aminoff of Ann Arbor, Barbara and
Jonathan Haber of Huntington Woods;
grandchildren, Debbie Aminoff and
Steve Kraman, Susan Aminoff, Janet
Aminoff, Jody and Daniel Boorstein,
Kim and Mark Goodman, Wendy and
Douglas Hamburger; great-grand-
children, Seth Kraman, Adam and
Mitchell Boorstein, Madison and Jami
Goodman, Paige and Justin Hamburger.
Mrs. Sperber was the beloved wife
of the late Sydney Sperber and the late
Joseph Mirzoeff.
Interment at Arborcrest Cemetery in
