WENDY SIEGAL, 55, of Costa
Mesa, Calif., formerly of Detroit,
died July 5, 2007.
A middle school teacher, Ms.
Siegal was an avid and competi-
tive sailboat sailor and won the
California-to-Hawaii Transpac
Race in 2001.
She is survived by her loving
partner, Duncan Harrison of
Costa Mesa; brother and sister-in-
law, Arthur and Michele Siegal of
Beverly Hills, Mich.; nieces and
nephews, Paul and Kate Hickey,
Abigail Siegal and Scott Siegal.
She was the beloved daughter
of the late Shirley and the late
Norman Siegal; cherished sister of
the late Meryl Siegal Hickey.
Interment at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may
be made to the Siegal Fund at
BBYO, 6600 W. Maple Road,
West Bloomfield, MI 48322.

EDITH SOLOMON, 94, of West
Bloomfield, died July 1, 2007.
She is survived by her daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Sheila
and Allen Schwartz of West
Bloomfield; sister, Shirley Miller
of West Bloomfield; grandchil-
dren, Steven Schwartz, Julie and
Michael Hennessey, Douglas
and Ginean Solomon, Lisa

Solomon; great-grandchildren,

Mrs. Solomon was the beloved
wife of the late Saul Solomon;
loving mother of the late Joseph
Solomon; dear sister of the late
Fred Barnes, the late Maurice
Barnes, the late Jack Barnes, the
late Ann Rajesky, the late Rose
Williams.
