The business she loves makes for
a long day for Luczak. She and staff
come to the facility at 6 a.m. to feed
and give an outdoor bathroom break
to the overnight guests. Day boarding
drop off is from 7 to 9 a.m. and pickup
is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The building
closes at 7.
All pets must be evaluated before
being accepted. Customers must fill
out a questionnaire and provide cur-
rent shot records, and pets spend time
in the arena to see how they interact
with the other dogs. "Sometimes,"
Wendy says, "it takes a day to see how
the dogs react."
Once a dog becomes a client, they
can use all the facility's services.
"It's just a family oriented business,"
says Wendy. "People like us. We know
them by their first names and we

Chapter Michigan Region.
The region's annual dinner dance
will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue, 29901 Middlebelt,
Farmington hills.
Proceeds will be used for a room
in honor of the Browns and for emer-
gency medical equipment at the new
Natalie and Manny Charach Magen
David Adom Emergency Medical
Center in Ashdod, Israel.
The Browns will be honored for
their efforts and support of the
humanitarian programs of Magen
David Adorn, Israel's national emer-
gency medical, blood and ambulance
service.

big part of her life at B'nai David
