were named to the 2007 edition of
Best Lawyers in America, a national
peer review. Alterman, a shareholder,
was cited for excellence in commercial
litigation and antitrust law. Feldstein,
of counsel to Kemp Klein, was hon-
ored for his family law expertise.

Joshua Andrew Hearshen, for-
merly of Oak Park, received his ordi-
nation as a rabbi by the Ziegler School
of Rabbinic Studies of the American
Jewish University (formerly the
University of Judaism), Los Angeles.
Hearshen received his undergraduate
degree from James Madison College
at Michigan State University where
he majored in social relations. He and
his wife, Carrie, will move to Mercer
Island, Wash., where he will serve as
the assistant rabbi for Congregation
Herzl-Ner Tamid.

Elizabeth Aim Pensler of
Bloomfield Hills was one of 222 medi-
cal students who received a doctor
of osteopathic medicine degree from
Kansas City University of Medicine
and Biosciences in Kansas City, Mo.
She will complete a postdoctoral
residency in general surgery at the
Henry Ford Health System's Bi-County
Hospital in Warren.
