JAS Marks Anniversary Jewish Apartments & Services recently marked its 40th anniversary. At its annual meeting, JAS honored the founding families who helped build the agency. Members of the Coville, Hechtman, Meer, Mondry, Prentis and Teitel families accepted a special gift from residents of the building that bears their family name. Residents shared why living at JAS has been special to them. Larry Tisdale was installed as president of JAS. Vice presidents are Susie Harold, Nancy Siegel Heinrich, Jon Podolsky and Steven Weinstock. Treasurer is Harold Etkin; assistant treasurer is Eli A. Scherr. Rabbi E.B.
