PHOTOGRAPHY BY ANGIE BAAN A breathtaking fashion show featuring models strutting their stuff atop dinner tables captivated close to 1,000 guests at the Karmanos Cancer Institute's 25th Annual Dinner. More than 70 models wearing fashions from Milan, Paris, New York — and the closet of fashion maven Linda Dresner of Birmingham — appeared out of nowhere on the massive tables, which doubled as a runway at the Rock Financial ROBIN SCHWARTZ, Showplace in Novi. "It was a huge surprise for most people," said COLUMNIST Dresner, an 11-year breast-cancer survivor who received life-saving treat- ment at Karmanos and planned the May 19 event. "It was a great joy, a very creative moment for me, and also an opportunity to give back."
