MAYER LEBOVIC, 81, of Southfield,

JEANETTE SCHWARTZ, 88, formerly

died June 5, 2007.
He was a Holocaust survivor who
devoted his life to making sure people
did not forget what happened
to his family and all of the
families who perished
in concentration camps.
He was the sole survivor
from his entire family; his
mother, father and six
UST brothers all perished.
OR
From the ashes of
Europe, he went to help
establish the Jewish homeland
and was proud to have served in
Israel's military for 11 years. May his
memory be blessed.
Mr. Lebovic is survived by his wife,
Helena Lebovic; son and daughter-
in-law, Harry and Debra Lebovic of
Southfield; daughter, Gail Lebovic of
Southfield; grandchildren, Joseph,
Elana, Aaron.
Contributions may be made to
Michigan Friends of I.D.F., P.O. Box 999,
Walled Lake, MI 48390. Interment at
Hebrew Memorial Park. Arrangements
by Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

She was active in the Ivan S. Bloch
women's chapter of B'nai B'rith and also
worked at the B'nai B'rith blood drives.
Mrs. Schwartz is survived by her
beloved husband of 65 years, Norman
Schwartz; son and daughter-in-law,
Mark and Joanne Schwartz; daughter
and son-in-law, Gail and Michael
Berke; grandchildren, Michelle and
Peter Kalina, Risa and Ian Flashner,
Josh, Stephanie and Kevin Berke,
Danielle and Dan Brunsell; great-
grandchildren, Sydney, Jacob and
Sammy Kalina, Justin and Matthew
Flashner, Jakob and Jaden Brunsell.
She was the sister of the late Evelyn
Teman.
Services and interment at the King
David Chapel and cemetery in Las
Vegas. Contributions may be made to
a charity of one's choice.

MELVIN JAY ROSEN, 71, of Royal

Oak, died June 12, 2007. He was a car-
pet salesman.
Mr. Rosen is survived by his son,
Brandon Rosen of Royal Oak; com-
panion, Marion Holsbek of Sterling
Heights; sister and brother-in-law,
Diana and Howard Lichterman;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence
"Larry" (Jobi) Rosen, Herbert and
Judy Rosen; cousins, Donna and Jeff.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

NEVIN SEGAL, 51, of Huntington

Woods, died June 16, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine
Segal; sister, Cindy Segal of Sharon,
Mass.; aunt and uncle, Loretta and
Frank Gold of Highland Park, Ill.;
nieces and nephews, Benjamin
Hooberman, Christina Galvin, Joseph
Galvin, Corbin Mack, Kiefer Mack;
sisters-in-law.
