With two young children and a growing amount of belongings
V V in their home, Maria and Jason Biederman decided the time
was right to upgrade their unfinished basement into space they
could put to good use.
"We chose Gittleman based on the work they had done for friends
of ours," said Maria. "And once we met with Scott, we knew we
felt comfortable with them."
Maria said the entire process unfolded smoothly, without
interfering with their everyday lives. "We thought everyone on the

Today, the Biedermans enjoy a custom finished basement that
enhances the entire ambiance of their home and adds more of

5-year-old son's model trains.
"It's great to have the extra space. We've moved the kids' games and toys downstairs. Now they never want to
leave the basement," Maria said, noting that her favorite part of the renovations are the custom touches Gittleman
provided — built-in shelves to house her collection of photo albums, a shop area for her husband's tools and lots
of closet storage space.
