Synagogue members in

June 8 for a Shabbat dinner and ser-
vice to say farewell to Rabbi Daniel
Nevins and his family.
The Nevinses are leaving Michigan
at the end of the month for New York
City, where Rabbi Nevins will become
dean of the rabbinical school of the
Jewish Theological Seminary of
America.
The June 8 event included
Adat Shalom's new cantor, Frank
Lanzkron-Tamarazo, and his family.

A Shabbat Rocks service followed
the dinner. The service ended with
a siyum in which Rabbi Nevins and
Adat Shalom President David Schostak
