Arons is known for his lectures about
Jewish gangsters and other shady characters.

Finding Hope

"Hope, Humor and Harmony" is the
theme of the third annual Celebration of
Survivorship 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, June 21,
at the Shriners Auditorium and Conference

The free event is sponsored by the
Pat Sachs
Karmanos Cancer Institute's Survivorship
University, an educational program for can-
cer patients, survivors and their loved ones.
Inspirational humorist and singer Eric Gnezda will be the
keynote presenter. WDIV-TV's Karen Drew will emcee.
The first annual Patricia Milner Sachs Heart of a Survivor
Award will be presented to a local cancer survivor who has
championed the cause of cancer patients. Sachs, the found-
ing dean of Survivorship University, died of skin cancer a
year ago.
