82, of Farmington
Hills, died May 22,
2007. An avid trav-
eler and voracious
reader, she traveled
to more then 100
countries.

Dr. Lanny and Debby Lesser of West

and Dr. Kenneth Bishop, Renee Lesser,
Kenneth Lesser, Matthew Frank,
Lauren Frank, Sarah Ann, Rachel
and Zoe Lesser; great-grandchildren,
Hannah and Evan Smyk and Jace
Bishop; brother and sister-in-law,
Richard and Marilyn Reinman; broth-
ers-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert
Lesser, Hyla and Sam Offen.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

HELEN LEVY, 95,
of St. Louis, Mo.,
died May 22, 2007.
She was a member
at Temple Israel
and a member
of its sisterhood
and choir. She also

was a member of
Hadassah, Women's
American ORT and Jewish Women's
International.
Mrs. Levy is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Ronald and
Marie Levy; daughter, Paula Wassner;
grandchildren, Nicole and Noah
Lander, Alisha Levy, Joanne Wassner;
sister, Eleanore Bralver.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Joseph Levy.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to Jewish Federation or Temple Israel.

JACK LIPTON, 91, of Bloomfield Hills,
died May 21, 2007.
He is survived by his sons and
daughter-in-law, Alan and Lori Lipton
of Candler, N.C., William Lipton of
Portage, Mich.; daughter, Maxine
Lipton; sisters, Sylvia Feld, Nancy
Fordonski.

Mr. Lipton was the beloved husband
of the late Esther Lipton.

LIBBY MARSHALL, 90, of Pembroke
Pines, Fla., formerly of Detroit and
Southfield, died May 4, 2007, after a
long illness.
She is survived by her daughters,
Susan Adelson (Paul) of Farmington
Hills and Pembroke Pines, Deborah
Marshall (Charles Palmer) of Eugene,
Ore.; grandson, David Adelson of
Pembroke Pines; granddaughter,
Gianna Palmer of Eugene.
There are many family members,
friends and former students in
Michigan, Florida, Illinois, Ohio and
Washington who will remember her
fondly.

JAKE "BUDDY" SLAFKIN, 90, of Oak
Park, died May 25, 2007.
He is survived by his nieces and
nephews, Bill (Cynthia) Faber, Dena
(Stuart) Fishman, Michael Garsoff,
Phyllis (Kenneth) Katz and Helene
Damen; many loving great-nieces
and nephews; devoted friend, Mitchel
Newman.
He was the dear uncle of the late
Donald Katz.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.

IDA STORBINSKY, 92, of Southfield,
died May 27, 2007.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Bernice and Martin Baum
of Southfield; son and daughter-in-
law, Louis and Annette Storbinsky of
Southfield; grandchildren, Adam Magy,
Mark Baum, Allen Storbinsky and
Corey Storbinsky; many nieces, neph-
ews, other family members and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Abraham Storbinsky; sister of the late
Fannie Bassin, the late Edward Bassin
and the late Charles Bassin.
Interment was held at the Clover
Hill Park Cemetery. Contributions may
be made to the American Diabetes
Association or to the American
Heart Association. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.
