recently married at Temple Israel,
West Bloomfield. Rabbi Joshua Bennett and
Cantor Michael Smolash officiated.
Dana is the daughter of Michael and
Cindy Gersten of West Bloomfield. Frederick
is the son of Harvey and Marilyn Hortick of
Bloomfield Hills.
Lissa Maher, matron of honor, and Jenny
Bloom, maid of honor, are both longtime
friends of the bride. Bridesmaids included
Stephanie Amster, Amanda Beaudoin,
Debbie Chasnick, Rachael Garfinkle, Jennifer
Garfinkle, Carly Gersten, Jennifer Goldberg and Stephanie Mann.
Chris Foley, longtime friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen includ-
ed James Cawthorne, David Chasnick, Adam Garfinkle, Jordan Gersten, Mark
Siegel and Daren Shavell.
Maddie Schultz and Paige Stearn, cousins of the groom, were flower girls.
Proud grandparents of the bride and groom are Marty and Sue Garfinkle,
Philip and Ethel Gersten and Herbert and Shirley Liner.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Spain and now reside in Chicago.
