ERNEST RUBINSTEIN, 81, of Oak A Toby Dobkin Together with their children, they built and worked Dobby's Formal Wear Inc. in Livonia. Married for 37 years, they loved to travel and were devoted to each other and their children. Toby was a consummate cook and baker and was famous for her legendary challahs and gefilte fish. Long before meals on wheels, she sent her children on Detroit buses to feed needy Jewish people in homes and hos- pitals. She was also an accom- plished ballroom dancer, who received many trophies. She put love into everything she did as a main ingredient. She loved people and put every- one's needs before hers while making them aware of their own inner capacities. Her passion, dignity, elegance, wit and style endeared her to all. Her smile and radiance, which revealed her soul, will live on in all those who knew her. Toby Dobkin is survived by her husband, Samuel Dobkin; sons, Rabbi Barry Ulrych of Murrieta, Calif., Moses Ulrych of Southfield; daughter, Hannah Monique Ulrych of Southfield; brother and sister-in-law, Meyer and Marsha Grabie of Forest Hills, N.Y.; neph- ews and nieces, Dr. Morris Grabie, Yehudah and Roche! He arrived in the U.S.A. in his early 20s and learned the trade of watch and jewelry repair. He started his own business, E & R Watch and Jewelry Repair, which he operated for over 50 years. Mr. Rubinstein is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Elaine Rubinstein; beloved son, Kevin Clepps of Oak Park; daughters and son-in- law, Michelle Rubinstein of Oak Park, Elisa and Ezra Levender of Oak Park; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Barbara Rubenstein of Huntington Woods. A salesman and manufacturer's rep- resentative for men's clothing, he was on the board of Michigan Apparel Club for many years and worked until his retirement at the age of 83. During World War II, he was in the Army and a member of the Jungleers; he was stationed in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek. Mr. Sarasohn is survived by his wife of 23 years, Miriam Sarasohn of Bloomfield Hills; children, Nancy and Ronald Feldscher, Margie Rosenberg, Jane Sarasohn-Kahn and Robert Kahn, Harry Pollack and Joanne Bachman, Reid Pollack and Lori and Bob Jaffe; grandchildren, Ross and Andrew Feldscher, Peter Rosenberg, Anna Kahn, Rebecca and Hannah Pollack, Sabra, Asher and Bayla Jaffe. Mr. Sarasohn was the beloved husband of the late Polly Greenberg Sarasohn; loving brother of the late Edith Ellis and the late Alvin Sarasohn. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
