Barefoot Bay, Fla., died May 17, 2007.
She is survived by her son, Harold
Bass of Gilbert, Ariz.; daughters and
son-in-law, Sharon Bass of Northville,
Dilyse and Mark McAllister of Livonia;
grandchildren, Ilaena McAllister,
Brennen McAllister, Kelly Bass. She
was the beloved wife of the late
Marcus Bass.

ETHEL BRAGMAN, 80, of Bloomfield
Hills, died May 18, 2007.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. James and Debbie
Bragman of Bloomfield Hills; brother
and sister-in-law, Paul and Lois
Katzman of Bloomfield Hills; grand-
children, Jackson and Mia; many other
loving family members and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Paul J. Bragman.
Interment at Oakview Cemetery.

FRANK CASTLEMAN, 99, of
Bethesda, Md., died May 9, 2007. Mr.
Castleman lived in Metro Detroit for
seven decades.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Eleanor Castleman; children, Judith
C. and Michael Messitte, Don R. and
Ellen Castleman; loving grandchil-
dren, Anne (Dan), Jesse (Carolyn),
Marc and Caren; great-grandchildren,
Benjamin, Eli, Joshua and Kate.
Services were held at Washington
Hebrew Congregation in Washington,
D.C. Interment at King David
Memorial Gardens in Falls Church,

88, of Southfield,
died May 18, 2007.
She received her
bachelor's degree
from Wayne State
University in art
education and was a
Dale
member of Temple
Beth El.
Mrs. Dale is survived by her sons
and daughters-in-law, Dr. Robert and
Marilyn Dale of Georgia, James Dale
and Ellen Small of Maryland; daugh-
ter, Julie Dale of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Brian and Danielle
Dale, Kevin and Stephanie Dale,
Andrew Dale and fiancee Carmen,
Andrea and Jeffrey Belen, Lisa
Korotkin, Emily Korotkin, Alex
Shapiro, Sara Shapiro; great-grand-
children, Stella Dale and Sammy Dale;
sister and brother-in-law, Flora and
Gerald Blumenthal of Southfield.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Dr. Mark Dale.

SHELDON FREEDHEIM, 72, of San
Diego, Calif., died May 16, 2007.
He is survived by his nieces and
