a philosophical study of the Torah and
Talmud. As part of their Club 7 cur-
riculum, they studied the Holocaust
and the creation of modern Israel. They
also made a banner that will be perma-
nently displayed at Yad Ezra, Berkley,
where they volunteered time both
individually and with their parents. The
b'nai mitzvah ceremony will last about
90 minutes and is open to the public.

as he celebrates his
bar mitzvah. He
is the son of Elise
Bratley
and Russell Bratley
and the brother of
Alanah. His proud grandparents are
Rhoda and Irving Pizel and Elizabeth
and Robert Bratley.
Jarred attends Bloomfield Hills
Middle School. He organized and
implemented the first Cystinosis 5K
Fun Run/walk, called "Run for Kacy",
and felt this mitzvah project was very
meaningful.

bat mitzvah. She is
the daughter of Joy
Cantor
and Mark Cantor
and the sister of
Rebecca, Michael, Richard and Ethan.
She is the granddaughter of Elaine and
David Polk, Clive Cantor and the late
Claire J. Cantor. Her very proud great-
grandparents are Sylvia and Meyer
Pomerantz.
Claire is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
Her favorite mitzvah has been spend-
ing time with a little boy she has met
through the Friendship Circle in West
Bloomfield.
