Bruce R. Magid has been appointed
dean of Brandeis International
Business School in Boston. He is cur-
rently dean of the College of Business
at San Jose State University. Prior to
this, Magid was the founding execu-
tive director of MSU Global, Michigan
State University's on-line and global
distance education business unit.

Rabbi Miriam S. Jerris of
Huntington Woods has been pro-
moted to community development
director of the Society for Humanistic
Judaism. She will provide in-person

spearhead development of new com-
