suing this career. Nonetheless, she
continued her formal education and
was very involved in radical politics
of the times.
She met and married Boaz Siegel,
and they forged a partnership that
would last 67 years. Her husband
became one of the most honored
labor attorneys in Michigan history
and she became a successful psy-
chologist who practiced from 1960
through the 1980s.
Their children, Paula
and Joel, pursued
careers in health
care and the arts.
The Siegels were also
founding members of
the Jewish Parents
Institute and signifi-
cant members of the
Society for Humanistic
Judaism.

gence, fierce independence, warmth,
wit and creativity were hallmarks of
her life. She is acutely missed and
will.be deeply remembered.
