were recently married at the
Windham Garden Hotel in Novi.
Rabbi Asher Lopatin of Asher Sholom B'nai
Israel Congregation in Chicago officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Markowitz of West Bloomfield.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Davis
Abihssera of Casablanca, Morocco.
Participating in the ceremony were Mr.
and Mrs. Monte Markowitz, grandparents
of the bride; Amy and Charlie Markowitz,
sister and brother of the bride. Also, Eric's
brother Stephone and sister Caryl partici-
pated in the ceremony.
Following the honeymoon, the couple reside in Chicago.

eon and Fay Siegel of Farmington
Hills recently celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary. They were
married Sept. 30, 1956, at Adas Shalom
Synagogue in Detroit. Family and friends
celebrated at a brunch held in their honor
at Wabeek Country Club, Bloomfield Hills.
Festivities continued on a family cruise in
December with their children, Michael and
Liz Siegel and Dennis and Elissa Paul, and
grandchildren, Alex, Zachary and Evan Paul
and Samuel Siegel.

Nagel 50th

enny and Sy Nagel of Southfield
celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary with a trip to Havana,
Cuba, where they had gone on their honey-
moon. When they showed the original bill
at the Hotel Nacional, they were invited to
stay for a night, were given champagne and
flowers and admission to a stage show. A
celebration with family and friends is set
for May.
