DIRECTOR, FEDERATION'S
2008 FAMILY MIRACLE MISSION
The Director is primarily responsible for planning, coordinat-
ing and implementing the December 2008 Federation Family
Miracle Mission (FFMM). This is a fulltime position from May
1, 2007 through January 2009. The duties include:
•Work in close coordination with the Mission Chairs and
Steering Committee;
•Act as recruiter and work closely with synagogues,
rabbis and lay leadership;
• Coordinate marketing materials, application process and
bus assignments;
• Plan and manage Mission budget;
• Plan recruitment, preparation, educational, staff and bus meetings;
•Work closely with trip provider, airline representatives and
JFMD Israel office;
•Assist with developing trip itinerary;
Travel with FFMM to Israel in December 2008, and possible
pre-trip site visit;
•Assist with Mission follow-up.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Excellent people skills.
• Prior Mission experience preferred.
• Computer savvy.
•Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Federation knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication & planning skills. • Attention to detail.
