and Rena and Ronald Meyers of
Southfield are thrilled to announce
the engagement of their children Lisa
Berkower to Jeffery Meyers. Lisa is also the
daughter of the late Donald M. Berkower.
Lisa earned her bachelor's of science in
special education and master's degree in
early childhood education from Eastern
Michigan University. She is employed as
the pre-primary intervention teacher with
Clarenceville Schools.
Jeffery received his bachelor's of sci-
ence in psychology from the University of
Michigan and completed his medical training in Chicago. He practices internal
medicine in Southfield.
A June wedding is planned at Temple Israel.

Goldenberg of Huntington
Woods and Cortney Terrian of
Farmington Hills are extremely proud to
announce their engagement.
Shay graduated from Michigan State
University with a bachelor's degree in
graphic design, while Cortney graduated
from Eastern Michigan University with a
bachelor's degree in children's literature.
The happy couple reside in Winter Park,
Fla. They are both employed at a local college,
where Shay teaches a computer animation
course and Cortney is a financial aid adviser.
They eagerly look forward to an August wedding.

r. and Mrs. David Tisdale

and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Kaluzny, all of West Bloomfield,
are thrilled to announce the engagement of
their children Jennifer Alysse Tisdale and
Ryan Scott Kaluzny.
Jennifer graduated from the University
of Michigan and earned rabbinic ordina-
tion from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish
Institute of Religion. She is a rabbi at
Temple Israel and the Jewish Hospice and
Chaplaincy Network.
Ryan also graduated from the University
of Michigan and earned his juris doc-
tor from Wayne State University, Detroit. He is the judicial staff attorney for
Oakland County Circuit Judge Gene Schnelz.
A November wedding is planned at Temple Israel, West Bloomfield.
