Au Revoir, ies Enfants is based on a wartimo, armory of Louis Mak,

(1932-1995), who affended this very school. The school. like many
Catholic schools and other organizations. took in Jewish children under
assumed names to shelter them from the Nazis. The film centers on
the friendship of two 72 year old boys. Julien Quentin and Jean Bonnet.
