Laura attends the Norup
International School in Oak Park.
As one of her mitzvah projects,
she felt it especially meaningful
to donate funds she made from
making bracelets to the Leukemia
Lymphoma Society.

called to the
Torah as a bat
mitzvah on
Saturday, April 21,
at Congregation
Stern
Beth Ahm.
Participating in the ceremony will
be her proud parents, Susan and
Bruce Sitron, and her older sister
Hayley. Emily is the granddaughter
of the late Mildred and the late
Sidney Wise, the late Ruth and the
late Harold Sitron.
Emily is a student at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. Her most meaningful
mitzvah project was volunteering
at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Stern will cel-
ebrate his bar
mitzvah as he
leads the congre-
gation at Temple
Israel during
services Saturday,
Sitron
April 21. His par-
ents are Ruth and Owen Stern and
his sister is Haley. Sharing in the
simchah will be his grandparents
Greta and Sam Greene. He is also
the grandchild of the late Edith and
the late Herman Stern.
Attending Abbott Middle School
in West Bloomfield, Ryan felt it
especially meaningful to partici-
pate in Soccer Kicks for Cancer as a
mitzvah project.
