A member of Women's American ORT and Hadassah, she was a volunteer reader for North Central Sight Services, Inc. Mrs. Sklar is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Stanley Kaplan of Williamsport, Elaine and Steven Gold of Decatur, Ga.; five grandchildren, twin great- grandchildren; nephew, Rabbi Julian Cook.
