Animal Shelter in Southfield as her
mitzvah project.

Synagogue. He is

and the brother of Tyler, Kevin and
Kyle. His proud grandparents are
Bernard Benovic, Marilyn Freedland
and Murray Statfield. He is also the
grandson of the late Laura Benovic.
Austin attends Abbott Middle
School in West Bloomfield. His favor-
ite mitzvah project was working with
an animal rescue league and foster-
ing dogs.

Israel, as he leads

at Shabbat services

He is the brother of
Jason and the grandchild of Susan
and Jerrold Weiner and Sheila and
Harold Guz. He is also the grand-
child of the late Kathleen and the
late Thomas Wade. His proud great-
grandfather is Irvin Forman. He is
also the great-grandchild of the late
Katie Forman.
Aaron attends Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills. He felt it
was especially meaningful to donate
funds to Smile Train, an organiza-
tion that provides funds for children
with cleft palates to receive cosmetic
surgery.

as a bat mitzvah

31, at Temple Kol
Ami. She is the sis-
ter of Amit and Maya. Her grandpar-
ents are the late Larry Pernick, Anne
Pernick, the late Chanan Weitzer and
Bela Weitzer.
Talia is a seventh-grader at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield. She has enjoyed
participating in several mitzvah
experiences, with a highlight being
the development of religious school
fundraising campaign to support
relief efforts in Darfur.

mitzvah on Friday,
March 30, at
Temple Emanu-
EI. Joining in this
exciting day will
be his younger

Jake, along with
his proud parents, Susan and Brian,
and his grandparents Sol Pickard and
Corine Charty.
Zak attends Norup International
School in Oak Park, where he is a
seventh-grader. This past year, he
volunteered and raised funds for the
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society .

Rosie and Si Gliner and Theresa and
Martin Wunder.
Alex is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield. He
helped at Temple Israel's Labor Day
picnic and felt that was an important
mitzvah project.
