Physicians On Call for Israel is
looking for a few good participants.
It's a unique chance for physi-
cians to participate in a trip to
Israel as part of a joint Michigan
Friends of the Israel Defense
Forces and American Physicians
Fellowship program certified by
the Israel Ministry of Health.
Participants will see IDF
installations, meet soldiers and
commanders and participate in
a disaster and mass-casualty pre-
paredness course.
To explain the program, a parlor
meeting sponsored by the Jewish
Fund is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Monday, March 19, at the West
Bloomfield home of Dr. and Mrs.
Brian Adelman.
The guest speaker will be Dr.
Boaz Tadmor, a retired IDF colonel
who has led Israeli preparations
and medical responses to terror.
He was responsible for creating
and testing nationwide systems
of hospital and community pre-
paredness.
This not a fundraising event.
RSVP by Tuesday, March 13, to
(248) 926-4110 or e-mail
