Gidon Sapir is a tenured professor at Bar-Ilan University's Faculty of Law,
specializing in constitutional law. This academic year he serves as a vis-
iting professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. He gradu-
ated (cum laude) from Bar-Ilan University, with his LL.M (with honors)
& S.J.D. degrees from Northwestern University where he also served as a
senior lecturer. At Bar-Ilan, Sapir serves as chairperson of the Advanced
Studies Committee and is the founder and supervisor of a legal clinic for
people with dispbilities. An ordained rabbi, Dr. Sapir publishes extensively
in both Hebrew and English in the areas of constitutional law and religion
and state. Come hear why "self-evident" isn't quite so simple.
