Participating in the ceremony will be Leaf her parents, Lori Kahn and Richard Leaf, and her sister Alissa Danzig. Her grandparents are Barbara Kahn of West Bloomfield and the late Donald Kahn, Maureen Leaf and Robert Leaf of Farmington Hills. Erica attends Warner Middle School in Farmington Hills. For her mitzvah project, she volunteered at the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield. Randee Paige Shapiro (Tamar Panina) will read from the Torah on the occasion of her bat mitzvah Saturday, March 3, at Temple Shapiro Israel. She is the daughter of Sharon and Bruce Shapiro and the sister of Sam and Alec. Her grandparents are Marcia and Dr. Bernard Shapiro. She is also the grandchild of the late Lilly and the late Abraham Holcman. Randee is a student at Warner Middle School in Farmington Hills. Her most meaningful mitzvah proj- ect was donating funds to the Israel Emergency Fund. 0 Shira Jordan Wolf, daughter of Betsy and Michael Wolf, will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, March 3 at Congregation Wolf Shaarey Zedek B'nai Israel Center in West Bloomfield. Sharing in the simchah will be Shira's siblings, Ilana, Jonah and Adena. Proud grandparents are Dr. Henri and Anaruth Bernard of West Bloomfield and Lonnie and Natalie Wolf of Pittsburgh, Pa. Shira is thrilled to have her great-grand- mother, Lillian Firestone of Laguna Hills, Calif., attending the bat mitzvah as well. Shira is a seventh-grader at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills. She is a volunteer at the Friendship Circle, and has orga- nized a children's book drive for her mitzvah project. Grant Nolan Yarber, son of Terry and Judy Yarber and the \ brother of Rita, Clark and Chase, will celebrate his bar Yarber mitzvah on Friday, March 2, at Temple Shir Shalom. He is the grandson of William and Janice Bronstein and the late Rita Bronstein. Grant is a student at Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield. Sandra is the daughter of Martin and Nancy Myers. Bruce is the son of Paula Siegel and Robert Levison. In attendance were Martin and Nancy, Paula and Bruce's three children, Jenna, Keith and Darrell. The couple will reside in Florida.
