Mrs. Lichter is survived by her
sons and daughters-in-law, Dr.
Paul and Carolyn Lichter of Ann
Arbor, Dr. Allen and Evie Lichter of
Washington, D.C.; grandchildren,
Laurie and Haran Rashes and
Susan Lichter and great-grandchil-
dren, Max, Ilana and Annie Rashes.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Dr. Max Lichter and was the
youngest and last survivor of six
children of the late Abraham and
the late Ida Epstein and was pre-
ceded in death by her five brothers,
Sam, Max, Meyer, Sol and Morris
Epstein.
Interment at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery. Contributions
may be directed to Hadassah.

SEYMOUR A. LIPPMANN, age
87, of Huntington Woods, died Feb.
17, 2007. A senior research scien-
tist in applied physics at Uniroyal
and a fellow of the Society of
Automotive Engineers, he was a
member of the American Physical
Society, Institute of Electrical
Engineers.
A scientist and artist, he also
crafted jewelry and furniture. Mr.
Lippman was also an accomplished
writer and wrote his memoirs of
life in Brooklyn.
He is survived by his wife of
61 1/2 years, Annette Lippmann
of Huntington Woods; son and
daughter-in-law, Raymond and Jan
Lippmann of Howell; daughter and
son-in-law, Sue and Jim Bennett
of Saline; grandchildren, Amy
and William Bennett; brother and
sister-in-law, Daniel and Frances
Lippman; brother-in-law and sis-
ter-in-law, Dr. Bernard and Raquel
Agranoff; nieces and nephews,
Will and Lisa Agranoff, Dr. Adam
and Julie Agranoff. Mr. Lippmann
was the beloved father of the late
Martin Lippmann.
Interment at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
