Novi - January. 2007 - Pancreatic cancer is the fourth
leading cause of cancer death in the U.S., more than
30,000 Americans are expected to die from the
disease this year. It is extremely difficult to treat and
little is known about what causes it.

A new study from the Harvard School of Public Health shows that men with
tooth loss or gum disease had a 64% greater risk of pancreatic cancer than
those with healthy gums and teeth!

Researchers followed 51.000 health professionals over 15 years. After adjust-
ing for risk factors like age, smoking, diabetes, and body mass index these men
were still 2 x more at risk.

People with Gum Disease have high levels of bacteria and toxins. These may
mix with stomach acids to form carcinogens, and trigger inflammation.

life style, maintaining good oral hygiene,
and visiting your dentist or Periodontist
may help you more then you think.
